The Institute of Aesthetic Plastic &
Reconstructive Surgery is a state-of-the-art facility built
on the belief that our environment has a profound
effect on our wellbeing.
An integration of the visual and healing arts, our facility
is designed to advocate personal interaction
between the patient, surgeon and staff that is conducive to
healing, providing a positive experience
for visitors and patients.

An accomplished sculptor and long-time supporter of the arts,
Dr. Schmid wove his artistic and architectural tastes throughout
the office. In harmony with his love of art and the
individuality of those who enjoy it, Dr. Schmid acquired
an eclectic collection of classical and contemporary works
by artists from Europe and North America. The original sculpture
and paintings, as well as the limited-edition lithographs
and serigraphs, convey uplifting themes of beauty,
serenity and music, adding to the Institute's
feeling of comfortable elegance.
